Meet our Camp Manager, Gladys! Gladys, affectionately known as G, has been with us for 8-1/2 years! She started as a Counselor, moved to Team Lead, Guest Service Agent, Operations Manager, Groomer, and now Camp Manager. Gladys has three dogs: 7-year-old Pit mix Koko-Chanel, 3-year-old Rottweiler Ruger-Boy, and 2-year-old Standard Poodle Jupiter-Moon. When not at Camp, you will find her cooking, as well as singing and dancing with her dogs. She would love to visit Greece someday. In yard, you will find her dancing with the dogs! We love Gladys!

Mike Muscato is Camp Bow Wow Albany’s Director of Training. For over 20 years Mike has been a player development director for athletes and feels right at home sharing his knowledge to help dog owners become a better coach to their dog!

With a love for dogs and a passion for coaching, Mike is dedicated to educating people about their dogs behavior. He was introduced to horses and dogs at a young age and soon knew these animals would become a rewarding part of his life. Mike was inspired to train dogs by Sherwood, his first Golden Retriever in 1990. He is determined to make a lasting impact with every dog and their owner, using positive training methods.

Meet our Assistant Guest Services Manager, Alana, who is also our photographer and supports us in social media as well. Alana has been with Camp for 3-1/2 years and has trained in every area of Camp demonstrating her versatility. Outside of Camp, Alana loves taking her dogs Toffee and Emma on adventures, traveling, baking, and practicing photography. We are often the lucky beneficiaries of her baking! Her favorite part of Camp is getting to know all the dogs’ personalities, watching the puppies grow and develop, and of course holiday photos. In the future, Alana hopes that she is happy and comfortable, continuing to advance her position in Camp, and traveling to warm beach fronts. Alana is committed to treating all the dogs as if they were her own! 

Meet our Assistant Camp Manager and one of our Trainers, Jillian! Jillian, AKA Ajillian, has been at Camp for over 2-1/2 years starting as a Camp Counselor, moving to Team Lead, then Assistant Manager, as well as Trainer. Jillian has a Bachelor’s Degree in Canine Training and Management from SUNY Cobleskill. She has a Golden Retriever, Hazel, as well as a cat, Pancake. Jillian enjoys reading, painting, writing, cooking, snuggling with her fur babies, and relaxing while listening to music with a candle. She aspires to always be in a happy pile of snuggly dogs, as well as to write a book - watch for her on the bestsellers list! Jillian’s love for the dogs is absolutely contagious!
