Our Cary Team

Taylor has been a dedicated member of the Camp Bow Wow team since 2018. A North Carolina native, she is passionate about animals and enjoys creating a safe and fun environment for all our furry guests. Taylor is the proud owner of a rescue dog named Dutch and has several chickens at home, adding to her love for animals of all kinds. Her favorite part of working at Camp Bow Wow is the opportunity to love on the dogs that come in every day, making sure each one feels special and cared for. Outside of work, Taylor enjoys spending time at the beach or riding 4-wheelers, embracing the great outdoors and adventure.

Patrick Gillespie has been a dedicated member of the Camp Bow Wow Cary team since 2012, working in every role before stepping into his current position as Marketing Director. With over a decade of experience, he understands every aspect of camp life and takes pride in making sure both dogs and their owners feel at home. One of his favorite parts of the job is watching dogs grow up at camp, building relationships with them, and seeing their excitement when they arrive.

Originally from California, Patrick has called North Carolina home for over 20 years. He lives with his wife, two children, two dogs, cat, and fish. His dog’s, Maverick and Elliot, spent their younger years coming to camp but now enjoy a well-earned retirement on the couch.

Outside of work, Patrick is a passionate baseball fan, having played the sport growing up. He roots for both the San Diego Padres and the Washington Nationals. He also enjoys spending time outdoors and goes camping and hiking whenever possible. When he’s not outdoors he enjoys unwinding and relaxing with video games and anime.

We are very excited to get started as the new owners of Camp Bow Wow Cary! We opened our first Camp in Frederick, MD in 2020 and we fell in love with your area on our first visit.

Between the three of us, we have a total of five dogs, five children, an incredibly diverse skill set, and a huge passion for what we do!

We are enthusiastic about getting to know you and your pups, answering any questions you might have, and working with the incredible and talented team already in place.

A proud North Carolina native, Summer has been with Camp Bow Wow since 2007, bringing a wealth of experience and a true passion for pets to the team. As General Manager of Camp Bow Wow Cary, Summer is dedicated to providing top-notch care for every furry guest while fostering strong connections with local rescue groups to support the community.

Outside of work, Summer enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband, her two children, two rescue dogs, and one cat. As a Certified Instructor in Pet First Aid and CPR, she is deeply committed to the well-being of pets in all aspects of her life. When not at Camp Bow Wow, you'll find Summer either gardening or hunting for unique vintage items and antiques.

Megan is a proud North Carolina native and a passionate animal lover. A North Carolina State University graduate with a Bachelor’s in Animal Sciences, Megan brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Camp Bow Wow. As a Certified Pet First Aid and CPR instructor, she ensures the safety and well-being of every furry guest that walks through the door. Outside of work, Megan is happily married and shares her home with two wonderful rescue dogs. When not caring for the dogs at Camp Bow Wow, she enjoys traveling and exploring new places. One of Megan's favorite aspects of working at Camp Bow Wow is the opportunity to meet and care for all the wonderful dogs that come in daily, making every day special. She is dedicated to making sure every dog has a fun and safe experience at Camp!
