Our Concord, NC Team

Kristi first started at Camp Bow Wow as a college student and athlete. Originally, she had zero intentions of staying past graduation, but found her love for working with dogs. She climbed the ranks and landed in our management team within her first year here. Simultaneously, she held multiple positions, including Dog Trainer and Marketing Scout. Working at Camp led her to so many life changes - she met her husband, Josh, who started working at Camp in 2012. Their connections led them to their two gentle giants - 100 lbs German Shepherd brothers, Cam & Vinny, who are now 11 years old and still with us. Kristi & Josh became certified in dog training and helped launch the program in 2014. They went on to get married and had two beautiful daughters, Ellie and Amelia. Nine years later, Kristi was promoted into a Regional Manager position for the corporate office of Camp Bow Wow. She was fortunate enough to keep overseeing the Concord location in her new Regional Manager role. From there, she was promoted into her final role of Senior Director of Corporate Camp Operations, where she oversaw seven locations total based in Colorado, New Mexico, and again - Concord, North Carolina. It was always a goal of hers to one day own her own Camp. They finally had their chance this past December and made it happen. Kristi, Josh, and her parents, Jeff and Jackie, are the proud new owners of Camp Bow Wow Concord NC. "I personally have been with the Camp since it opened its doors in 2009, and now as owner, can officially say I am the only remaining member of the original opening team." -Kristi

Jessica started working at Camp as a Camp Counselor in June 2019. She worked up the ranks and got promoted to Assistant Manager in December 2022. Right now, she owns and loves her many cats at home and gets her fill of dogs here at Camp! Her favorite breed is Golden Retrievers; she loves to hang out in the Yards with them. Jessica’s favorite part of Camp is watching all our Camper’s excitement as they come through the front door, ready to play the day away!

Alissa started working at Camp as a Camp Counselor in January 2023. They were quickly promoted to Scout in March of 2023, thanks to their background in social media. Their favorite dog breed is either a boxer or bulldog, which is why Duncan is the perfect match for them! Alissa's favorite part of Camp is undoubtedly taking pictures of all the Campers.
