Camp Bow Wow Delaware North's dog training services are designed to forge a healthy bond between you and your pup. Our premier dog training services offer variety, flexibility, and can cater to your dog’s specific needs. Our goal is to help you and your pup establish clear communication and enjoy working together. We believe training is a life-long process and should be both fun and challenging.
The training we offer is based on scientifically proven methodology and aligns with the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the American Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA®), the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT), the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC), and other established animal welfare organizations.

Group Classes
Camp Bow Wow’s group classes include a variety of programs for all skill levels. Our obedience program is split into multiple levels, so pups start with the basics and increase the difficulty through each level as you and your dog progress. Other group classes include tricks, leash-walking skills, CGC prep, and more!

Group Dog Training Classes Price Level I – Basic Puppy Training 6 week class. Dogs 3 - 6 months. Basic manners and behavioral issues. All puppies taking part in Puppy Classes or Puppy Socialization must have had DHPP (a combination vaccine for distemper, adenovirus [hepatitis], parainfluenza, and parvovirus) and bordetella at least one week before coming to Camp Bow Wow. Owners must also bring verification of a second set of shots for both DHPP and bordetella within 5 weeks of the original vaccination. All dogs at Camp must have a rabies vaccination when 4 months old. $140.00 Level I – Basic Adult Dog Training 6 week class. Dogs over 6 months. Vaccinations req'd. Basic manners and behavioral issues. $140.00 Level II – Advanced Dog Training 6 week class. Prereq of Level I. Advanced behaviors like heel, place, and distractions. $140.00 Level III – Public Polishing & Canine Good Citizen Prep 6 week class. Prereq. of Level II. Intense focus on solidifying behaviors. In-Camp Training Price Play & Train We offer 15 and 30 minute training sessions on behaviors owners select while Campers are at Camp Bow Wow. These may include stay, walking on leash, jumping or other basic training behaviors. $15 per 15-minute session or $30 per 30-minute session. Prices do not include daycare or boarding. Campers attending in-Camp training must first pass our initial interview process. Price. $15 or $30 $15-$30 Agility for Fun We offer 15 and 30 minute sessions for Campers to have fun learning weave poles; tunnel; A-Frame; treadmill; long, high and bar jumps; etc. and learning MANY kinds of FUN tricks! $15 per 15-minute session or $30 per 30-minute session. Prices do not include daycare or boarding. Campers attending in-Camp training must first pass our initial interview process. $15-$30 Package of Five Play & Train OR 30-Minute Agility for Fun Sessions Package must be paid in advance and is good 1 year from date of purchase $135.00 Package of 10 15-Minute Play and Train OR Agility for Fun Sessions Package must be paid in advance and is good 1 year from date of purchase. $135.00 -
Private Training Price Private Training Consultation at Camp Trainer will meet with owner (may include dog) for 30 minutes to talk about priorities for training and develop a plan. Vaccinations required if done at Camp. $25.00 Private Training at Camp Trainer will work with dog at Camp for 45 minutes on objectives that have been pre-set by Owner and Trainer. Vaccinations required. $60.00 Package of Five 45-minute Private Training sessions at Camp Package must be paid in advance and is good 1 year from date of purchase. $270.00 -
Additional Training Options Price One-Hour Seminar Seminar topics to be announced. Sessions are for owners. Dogs are not present for seminars. $15.00 Socialization Fun time for dogs (and owners) to get to know others in smaller groups. All dogs must have Bordetella and age appropriate vaccinations. Puppy groups are limited to puppies under a year, Adult groups are for all dogs over 7 months. We recognize the overlap, but some dogs 7-12 months do better with puppies and some with older dogs.
