Chris Owner
After years of working in the corporate world, Chris decided it was time for a change and began looking into Camp Bow Wow back in 2012. Although it took a few years to come to fruition, Chris and his brother, Marc, purchased the Eatontown location on June 1st 2017. Prior to owning the Camp, Chris was a regular volunteer at the Associated Humane Society in Tinton Falls, starting in 2011. He then began volunteering for Rescue Ridge in 2014. It was through Rescue Ridge that Chris found the love of his life, his rescue pit bull, Priscilla. Chris continues to volunteer with and support Rescue Ridge by fostering, fundraisers and sponsoring events throughout the year. Chris graduated from Villanova University and has lived in Wall his entire life. -
Marc Owner
Marc grew up at the Jersey Shore racing sailboats on the bay and around the country. At the age of 16 he became a National Champion. Marc graduated from St. Mary’s College of Maryland. After nearly a decade of working in the sailing industry, it was time for a change. That is when Marc began volunteering at the Associated Humane Society in Tinton Falls and the Jersey Shore Animal Center. Later he became a volunteer with Rescue Ridge and moved onto their property to care for the dogs, cats and other farm animals. This is when he started fostering dogs and eventually found his two fur kids, Lefty and Princess. Marc has been a part of the Camp Bow Wow family since 2012 and before purchasing the Camp Bow Wow Eatontown location with his brother Chris, he worked at Camp Bow Wow in Cherry Hill. -
Kristin Manager
Kristin joined Camp as Manager in March, 2024. She had been a zookeeper for over 20 years, working at the Staten Island Zoo, Prospect Park Zoo, and the Wild Safari at Six Flags. She’s had the privilege to care for a wide range of species from Bushbabies to elephants. As hard as it is to leave the zookeeping field, she loves being with all the pups at Camp Bow Wow. Kristin currently lives with a cat named "Raven" and 4 goldfish. Kristin is shown below with a North American porcupine.

Carolyn Manager
Carolyn joined our team in June, 2023 after being a client with her pup Snoopy since March, 2022. She started as a Counselor, and worked herself up to Assistant Manager and was promoted to Manager in January, 2025. She has always had a love of animals...growing up with beagles as a child and then pugs as an adult. Carolyn has been a pre-school teacher, which is good training for working with dogs! She adopted Snoopy in 2021 and has been a paw-some addition to our team.

Dawn Certified Dog GroomerI'm all about the pups!! I have been a groomer for 13 years. At first, I started out as a bather but worked my way up to being a groomer. I have learned from the best in the grooming business. I have always been an animal lover ever since I was a child. I have had every kind of pet you can imagine. Dogs have always been a part of my family, so grooming them makes me happy. It especially makes me happy when I get to make them smell good and feel good too. I will treat all the dogs as if they were my own. I will love and treat them with the most respect when they are in my care. I will never try to force something that your dog does not want me to do. Your babies well being comes first ALWAYS.
