It’s with great pleasure and a wagging tail that we introduce you to a vital member of the Camp Bow Wow Leadership Team — our Vice President of Marketing, Julie Turner, aka our Chief Barketer.
Julie began her career at Camp Bow Wow in 2014 and has been a tremendous asset to the brand over the course of her 2 and a half-year tenure, thus far. She manages the day-to-day of every aspect of our various franchise marketing initiatives, specializing in business development, marketing and communications as a whole. In essence, Julie is our fearless leader when it comes to refining the overall brand image, spearheading projects aimed at improving brand awareness nationwide, and developing and supporting effective marketing communications and campaign strategies across the entire franchise system.
Julie came to Camp Bow Wow with a strong background in marketing and communications off the bat. In fact, before joining the Pack, she managed digital products for DISH Network and was selected to participate in a leadership development program at Whirlpool. Here, she was able to gain even more useful experience, particularly pertaining to R&D, manufacturing, product development and marketing.
Most recently, Julie lead the marketing team to win a Gold Award in the Marketing Department of The Year category at the 2017 American Business Awards.
When she’s not hard at work digging up new marketing initiatives to take Camp Bow Wow to the top, Julie can be found spending time with her husband Nathan, and their furbaby Izzy, an adorable (and proudly spoiled) golden-doodle!
