Our Kansas City Northland Team

We're Josh and Ashley. We love our 2 dogs just as much as we love our 3 kids. We also love to travel. It's easy to bring our children on trips, but flying with 2 German Shepherds is difficult. Over the years we tried a lot of boarding options in the area and have been less than excited to leave our dogs while we go have all the fun.

We found Camp Bow Wow and loved the all-day play, large, individual cabins separated by actual walls with cots, luxury suites with 24/7 camera viewing for longer stays, the ability for dogs to run inside and outside freely, and that all the dogs must pass an interview before coming to camp. We felt our pets were safe and well taken care of while we were gone! One stop shop was also a huge benefit - we can let the pups have fun at doggy daycare, board them for trips and get all their grooming done all in one spot. We started as customers and converted to owners we loved Camp that much! 

Our goal is to be the premiere, all-inclusive pet service experience in the local KC community providing your pups with fun, love and a safe environment. We look forward to meeting all of you!

Richard was born and raised in the UK and has settled in Kansas City recently after a move from Illinois. With over a decade in the pet care industry he brings lots of experience to the team, having run pet care facilities all over the country. He joined our Camp Bow Wow family and is very excited to meet all of our customers and help us continue being the premier pet care experience in Kansas City.

Hi I’m Ami. I have always been passionate about pets and dogs in particular. When I was a little girl, I fell in love with my grandpa’s dog, Suzie. I would dress up and pretend to groom her at age 7. This love and passion led me to a career that still excites me to this day. I have been a Professional Groomer for 27 years, 21 of those years as a Master Stylist. In addition to loving dogs and the art of Grooming I have spent over 20 years of my Career in the Pet Industry in Boarding/Care/Training Leadership Roles.

When I’m not working I spend my spare time with my husband, daughter and our 4 dogs, 2 turtles and a cat. I’m thrilled to be a part of the Camp Bow Wow Pack and look forward to meeting all of our furry friends!

Courtney is a Tennessee native now calling KC home. She’s been with us from the start, working her way from the Assistant Manager to now the GM of Camp. When she not playing with the pups, training or cuddling campers she can be found hanging with her tail wagging trio at home. She’s been working with dogs her whole adult life now and cannot imagine doing anything else!

Meet our Assistant Manager! With a year at Camp Bow Wow and plenty of passion, they bring a vibrant energy to our team! Originally from a small town in MO and now living it up in KC for 5 years, she truly knows how to make every day an adventure! When not giving extra love to the pups, you can find them hiking, working out, or snuggling with their furry friends – June, the playful Great Dane, and Bruhkli, the charming cat. Their favorite part of Camp? Pampering our pooches with relaxing spa services, especially deshedding those big fluffballs! There's nothing better than a yard full of cuddles. 

Darcy comes to Camp Bow Wow Kansas City Northland with over two decades of experience in grooming. Her expertise extends to dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and not to mention any age from puppies to seniors! When she’s not sprucing up our Campers, she loves to spend her time at the dog park with her dogs, or spoiling herself with her favorite Starbucks coffee, and a pup cup for her baby!

Meet our fabulous stylist, Allie! ?? With a decade of grooming experience under her belt, she handles everything from teacup Yorkies to large Doodles with ease. ??When she’s not working she loves being outdoors with her 3 pups - Aries, Wyatt, and Selene! Allie's gentle touch is perfect for both elderly dogs and playful puppies. Come in for a pampered pooch experience! ???
