A couple of the most frequently asked questions I receive while giving a tour of our camp is, “Why did you decide to do this? “, and “Why Camp Bow Wow?” It’s pretty simple really. Greg and I love animals! We decided to make it our living since it was already our passion.

We decided Camp Bow Wow was a great alternative for people who travel and need overnight boarding for their dogs. We used to travel a lot and our children would come into our home and watch our many animals. A funny thing happened. They grew up and now have families of their own. Greg and I decided we wanted to help other dog (and animal) guardians by offering an alternative to traditional boarding. We give furry family members a home away from home. We also have day camp, where a dog can be a dog!

Kourtney is the Area Manager for Camp Bow Wow Boise & Meridian. She joined the pack in 2013, and Camp is absolutely her dream job. It's difficult to consider what she does work, just because it is so fun and rewarding working with dogs everyday. She is from Emmett, Idaho, where she currently lives on a small farm. She has four furry dog children of her own, Polly, Creature, Slinky, and Moo. On her farm; she also takes care of a variety of critters like; chickens, goats, pigs, cats, and even a pet cow! She loves caring for all animals, especially dogs, and that is why working for Camp Bow Wow has been such a passion for her. She is grateful she gets the opportunity to work with the dogs on a daily basis, as well as the many wonderful pet parents. She looks forward to seeing all of you and your furry kids at Camp, old and new!

Meet our Camp Manager, Hannah! Hannah joined our pack in 2019, shortly after moving here all the way from the UK! Hannah truly loves starting her day with all of the pups at Camp and seeing all of their unique personalities blossom in the play yards!

Hannah has always been crazy about dogs, (Who could blame her?) so working at Camp has been so much fun for her and the best part has been meeting so many different dogs and loving them like her own over the years!

Kaytlyn is shift lead at Camp and loves her job! She has been working at Camp for 2 years now and she loves meeting all the wonderful pups and their parents! Getting to play with all the pups and see their big smiles is a joy!

Courtney has been apart of our pack since 2022! She enjoys greeting dogs that come in everyday and seeing loves seeing them excited to be at Camp. In her free time she spend enjoys time with her pup going fishing or hiking.

Rocio has been with Camp since March of 2022! She has always been a huge dog lover and enjoys creating bonds with pet parents, so this job is the best of both worlds! Her time here at Camp has been so rewarding and she is so grateful that she get to work with all your lovely pups!

Shelby has worked at Camp since November of 2021! When she's not at work, she's often busy with school at BSU, snowboarding at Bogus Basin, camping in the mountains, or hanging with her friends! She loves working at Camp with all of the pups! It’s so exciting getting to know each and every one of the dogs here at Camp!
