We're Josh and Ashley. We love our 2 dogs just as much as we love our 3 kids. We also love to travel. It's easy to bring our children on trips, but flying with 2 German Shepherds is difficult. Over the years we tried a lot of boarding options in the area and have been less than excited to leave our dogs while we go have all the fun.

We found Camp Bow Wow and loved the all-day play, large, individual cabins separated by actual walls with cots, luxury suites with 24/7 camera viewing for longer stays, the ability for dogs to run inside and outside freely, and that all the dogs must pass an interview before coming to camp. We felt our pets were safe and well taken care of while we were gone! One stop shop was also a huge benefit - we can let the pups have fun at doggy daycare, board them for trips and get all their grooming done all in one spot. We started as customers and converted to owners we loved Camp that much! 

Our goal is to be the premiere, all-inclusive pet service experience in the local community providing your pups with fun, love and a safe environment. We look forward to meeting all of you!

Richard was born and raised in the UK and has settled in Kansas City recently after a move from Illinois. With over a decade in the pet care industry he brings lots of experience to the team, having run pet care facilities all over the country. He joined our Camp Bow Wow family and is very excited to meet all of our customers and help us continue being the premier pet care experience in Kansas City.

Hi I’m Ami. I have always been passionate about pets and dogs in particular. When I was a little girl, I fell in love with my grandpa’s dog, Suzie. I would dress up and pretend to groom her at age 7. This love and passion led me to a career that still excites me to this day. I have been a Professional Groomer for 27 years, 21 of those years as a Master Stylist. In addition to loving dogs and the art of Grooming I have spent over 20 years of my Career in the Pet Industry in Boarding/Care/Training Leadership Roles.

When I’m not working I spend my spare time with my husband, daughter and our 4 dogs, 2 turtles and a cat. I’m thrilled to be a part of the Camp Bow Wow Pack and look forward to meeting all of our furry friends!

Meet our amazing General Manager, Emily! With over a year and a half at Camp Bow Wow, their journey has been nothing short of incredible. Originally hailing from Italy, they now proudly call Florida home after 15 years. When not managing the camp, you can find them soaking up the sun at the beach or exploring downtown Pensacola with family and friends. They share their life with four adorable pets—two lively birds and two sweet dogs, including their beloved Angel Food Cake who certainly keeps things exciting! What warms their heart most? The joy of spending time with all our furry Campers!

Soleil, our dedicated assistant manager, hails from the vibrant city of New Orleans. She joined Camp Bow Wow in January 2024 and quickly found her passion for caring for dogs. After relocating to Florida in October, Soleil was determined to continue her journey with Camp Bow Wow. With a cat named Baby Kermit and a sweet puppy named Buster who she recently rescued from work, her love for animals is endless. When she's not at the camp, you can find Soleil soaking up the sun on the beach, enjoying a good book, kayaking through serene waters, or indulging in crafty projects. Building strong relationships with both parents and their pups brings her immense joy—every day spent with these furry friends makes her smile!
