David and Andrea's passion for Making Dogs Happy and empowering those with Disabilities led to taking ownership of Camp Bow Wow in Smyrna. Since taking leadership in 2020, Camp Bow Wow in Smyrna has provided top-of-the-line Boarding, Daycare, and Full-Service Grooming to Dogs from all over the Middle Tennessee area. In addition, David and Andrea have found ways to provide work opportunities to those with disabilities.

Andrea works in the day to day operations at Camp Bow Wow. "I believe our 8 Core Values is what sets us apart in the Dog Care Industry.  We focus on putting Dog's First, Making Dogs Happy, treating EVERY Dog like our own, providing top-notch customer service, and acting with integrity and honesty. We have a very positive Christian environment. Our team is compassionate, honest, and goes above and beyond for every Dog that visits our facility." 

David is not only very passionate about Dogs but also about doing work that matters. "Our team is very compassionate. That character trait that resonates among everyone is the key factor in providing the best care for Dogs. Our team is inclusive and accepting of our special needs ministry. They love helping us provide opportunities to those with disabilities. Our 19-year-old son, who is nonverbal, works with his therapists every day in Camp refilling water bowls, cleaning, and other very important jobs.  He feels that he has a purpose going to Camp Bow Wow to serve Dogs every day. There are several other individuals with disabilities who love caring for Dogs. Being able to Make Dogs Happy and provide opportunities to those who are often overlooked in society is the most important work we do."

David and Andrea know that the community has many choices when it comes to providing care for their Dogs. "I believe that our community wants the best for their Dogs. They want to support a local small business like Camp Bow Wow Smyrna because we care about them, their four-legged family members, and helping our community."

David and Andrea have been married for 25 years and have three sons. During their free time they enjoy spending time with their kids, watching local sports teams, and going out on the lake. Andrea, a lifelong resident of Rutherford County, attended Smyrna schools and graduated with a bachelor degree in Elementary Education from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. David graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville with a Bachelor degree in Business.
