Our Troy Team

Every Camper at our location warms my heart to the fullest. I've been with camp for just about two years, and it has been a dream! All of their smiling faces make life seem not so hard, even on its hardest days. What means most to me here is making sure to allow a safe space for the more nervous Campers to feel comfortable while they are here with us, and over time watch them blossom into the confident pup I know they can be. Making connections with our pet parents makes the connection with their dog feel so much more meaningful!

Switching career fields to dog care has been of the best decisions I've ever made in my life. I have been with Camp since March 2023, and every individual connection that I have developed since then with each Camper is unique and special in every way. Caring for the dogs wholeheartedly and creating bonds with our pet parents is what fuels me to continue to make Camp a safe and happy place for all Campers! At home, Shane and I have Averie Marie, a beautiful and loving Pitbull who consumes all of our attention. We also have Berkeley, or "Turkey", the Boston terrier, who is just as lovable and silly.

I have been with Camp Bow Wow for 10 years! It is the most fulfilling job in the universe. My favorite part is getting to know every single dog that comes into the building. They each have their own personalities, quirks, and friends! I love every single one like my own, and it's a pleasure to be a part of their lives. I spend the most time with dogs who have trouble first starting out, and love watching them succeed at Camp through the right routine and support. I also love getting to know the pet parents, and making them feel comfortable leaving their dog at Camp. Along with managing, I am now expanding my knowledge to become a dog trainer. I am engaged, and we have a beautiful, sweet, old lady pit bull named Lillian.

I've been with Camp Bow Wow for four years, since June of 2020. I have two husky mixes at home- Buster & Dakota, who love to be the neighborhood watch dogs. My favorite part about Camp is seeing the pet parent's happy faces when telling them how their pup did throughout the day, and I love creating all the fun crafts!
